Where’s Perry? Oh, there you are Perry.
Made this for a good friend at school. I get regular updates of where he is. :)

I met up with my friend Wes at the Red Goose Bakery in Joliet, IL for some snackies. It was delicious!! The cupcakes are amazing. You should stop by if you are in the area and get yourself a cupcake. It’s worth it.
Yesterday was a fantastic day.
First, I got a package from my grandparents in Arizona with a tripod! We will see if I can work it. haha But I am excited to try it out! Such a great surprise! Thanks Nana and Grandpa!
Then I went to visit my friends at school and they made dinner. Soooooooooo yummy! They made baked ziti, garlic bread, pomegranate-blueberry juice and these heavenly (yes heavenly) cupcakes. Oh my word. These cupcakes. Ugh. The word delicious can not fully describe how wonderful these cupcakes were. I normally don’t have a favorite cupcake because I honestly love any and all cupcakes, but Wes might have found it.

After dinner, I saw the musical that many of them were involved in. It was “Once Upon a Mattress.” It was hilarious! They did a fantastic job. I am so proud of all them! Here’s some photos if you want to see. :)

Then I came home and had another surprise from my friends at the patio. (You know who you are you little snot nuggets.) I had a wonderful gift of Dove dark chocolate promises (my fav), beautiful red flower earrings, the perfect sized orange journal (which is just funny because I needed a new journal and didn’t tell any of them) and a book entitled The Shack (which I have not read but it sounds so interesting).
I am so blessed. God constantly is reminding me of that. I am so thankful that He loves, heals and takes care of me on a daily basis.
Psalm 62:5-8 Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depends on God; He is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge.

My bunny took forever. Probably not gonna make a lot of these little guys. But I have a joke!
How do bunnies stay healthy?
Eggercise!
I know it’s cheesy, but I had to. :)

My hippo likes to smell the flowers. Deal with it.
The Hippopotamus by Anonymous
Consider the poor hippopotamus:
His life is unduly monotonous.
He lives half asleep
At the edge of the deep,
And his face is as big as his bottom is.

My octopuses..uh..octopi…uh..let’s look it up.
Definition of octopus from the Oxford Dictionary: “The standard plural in English of octopus is octopuses. However, the word octopus comes from Greek and the Greek plural form octopodes is still occasionally used. The plural form octopi, formed according to rules for some Latin plurals, is incorrect.”
My octopuses. :)

Alright all of you fabulous professional crocheters out there, I need some help pretty peez!
1. How do you keep your fingers from hurting if you want to crochet for a long time? Is it the hooks I am using or just my tense-ness? (I am pretty sure that’s not a word..haha)
2. I was asked to sell some of my creations and I have no idea how to price them. How do you decide prices for your stuff? Any suggestions?
UPDATE: Thank you so much for all of your responses!! I changed the way I was holding the hook and my fingers don’t hurt anymore! Woohoo! :)
